Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Hired Hands platform operated by Hired Hands, Inc. ("Hired Hands," "we," "us," or "our"). By creating an account or using our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms. Please read them carefully.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the Platform, you confirm that you are at least 18 years of age, have the legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement, and agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not use the Platform.

2. Description of Services

Hired Hands is a chiropractic-specific job marketplace and career development platform. Our services include:

  • Candidate Readiness Score (CRS) profiling and assessment
  • Job marketplace for chiropractic positions
  • Hands University — accredited courses and CEU credits for chiropractors
  • MBTI-based personality matching between candidates and practices
  • Placement milestone tracking and management
  • Buyout agreement creation and management tools
  • Premium candidate matching service for employer practices

3. Account Registration

You must provide accurate, current, and complete information when creating an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account.

Notify us immediately at support@hiredhands.com if you suspect unauthorized access to your account. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

4. Candidate Terms

4.1 Accurate Profile Information. Candidates must provide truthful and accurate information about their education, chiropractic licensure, certifications, and professional experience. Misrepresentation of credentials is grounds for immediate account termination and may be reported to relevant licensing authorities.

4.2 CRS Score. Your Candidate Readiness Score is calculated algorithmically based on profile completeness, certifications, experience, education, and interview performance. Hired Hands does not guarantee that any CRS score will result in a job placement.

4.3 MBTI Assessment. Completion of the personality assessment is optional but recommended. Results are used solely to improve practice matching and are never shared outside the Platform without your consent.

4.4 Applications. By applying to a position, you authorize Hired Hands to share your profile information with the relevant Practice for evaluation purposes only.

4.5 Free Access. Core Platform features — including profile creation, free-tier course access, job browsing, and MBTI assessment — are provided at no cost to candidates.

5. Practice / Employer Terms

5.1 Accuracy of Listings. Practices must provide accurate job descriptions, compensation ranges, and practice information. Misleading or fraudulent listings are grounds for account suspension or termination.

5.2 Use of Candidate Data. Practices may use candidate profile information solely to evaluate candidates for open positions. Practices may not resell, redistribute, or use candidate data for any other purpose.

5.3 Equal Opportunity. Practices agree to evaluate all candidates in compliance with applicable employment laws and without discrimination based on race, color, religion, sex, national origin, disability, or any other protected characteristic.

6. Fees and Payment Terms

Job Listings

$200/month

Per active listing, billed monthly in advance

Premium Matching

$4,500

One-time fee per placement engagement

6.1 All fees are charged in U.S. dollars. Monthly listing fees are billed automatically and you authorize us to charge the payment method on file.

6.2 Premium Candidate Matching is a one-time fee of $4,500 per placement engagement, charged upfront. This covers Hired Hands actively sourcing, screening, and presenting pre-qualified candidates. If no match is found, the full $4,500 is refunded — no questions asked.

6.3 Refunds. Monthly job listing subscriptions are non-refundable once processed. For the Premium Matching service, a full refund is issued if no placement match is made. Each additional job listing beyond the base is billed at $100/month. All disputed charges must be raised within 30 days of the billing date.

6.4 Hired Hands uses Stripe for payment processing. By submitting payment information, you also agree to Stripe's applicable terms of service.

7. Buyout Agreements

7.1 Hired Hands provides tools to create, manage, and track buyout agreements between Candidates and Practices directly within the Platform.

7.2 Hired Hands is not a party to any buyout agreement and does not provide legal advice. We strongly encourage both parties to seek independent legal counsel before signing any buyout agreement.

7.3 All buyout terms are negotiated and agreed upon exclusively between the Candidate and the Practice. Hired Hands is not responsible for the enforcement, breach, or consequences of any buyout agreement.

8. Placement Milestones

The Platform tracks placement task completion and associated bonuses defined within individual placement agreements between Candidates and Practices. Bonuses are task-based and are released 30 days after the final placement agreement is signed. The maximum bonus per candidate placement is $2,500. Hired Hands provides tracking tools but does not guarantee payment of any bonuses and is not liable for disputes arising from placement agreements.

9. Prohibited Conduct

You agree not to:

  • Provide false, inaccurate, or misleading information on the Platform
  • Circumvent Platform fees by contacting candidates or practices discovered through Hired Hands outside of the Platform for hiring purposes
  • Scrape, harvest, or systematically collect Platform data without written authorization
  • Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to access Platform source code
  • Engage in harassment, discrimination, or abusive conduct toward other users
  • Impersonate any person, entity, or chiropractic credential
  • Use the Platform for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable law

10. Non-Circumvention and Non-Solicitation

10.1 Non-Circumvention. For a period of 24 months following any introduction facilitated through the Platform, you agree not to directly hire, engage, or employ any candidate or practice whose identity or contact information you first learned through your use of Hired Hands, without paying the applicable Platform fees. This obligation applies regardless of whether the introduction was made through a job application, the Premium Matching service, or any other Platform feature.

10.2 Non-Solicitation. Practices agree not to solicit, recruit, or hire any candidate identified through the Platform for any position — including positions not listed on the Platform — without engaging Hired Hands' services and paying the applicable fee. Candidates agree not to solicit or accept direct engagement from a Practice discovered through the Platform in a manner designed to circumvent Platform fees.

10.3 Liquidated Damages. You acknowledge that a breach of this Section would cause significant harm to Hired Hands that is difficult to quantify precisely. Accordingly, in the event of a breach, you agree to pay Hired Hands liquidated damages equal to $4,500 per candidate or practice hired or engaged in circumvention of these Terms. This amount represents a reasonable estimate of damages and is not a penalty.

10.4 Buyout Agreement Non-Compete Obligations. Any non-compete provisions between a Candidate and a Practice are governed solely by the buyout agreement executed between those parties. Hired Hands is not a party to such agreements. See Section 7 for the Platform's role in buyout agreements.

11. Intellectual Property

All Platform content, features, and functionality — including the CRS algorithm, matching system, Hands University curriculum, and all associated trademarks — are owned by Hired Hands, Inc. and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or create derivative works based on Platform content without our express prior written permission.

12. Disclaimers

THE PLATFORM IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE." HIRED HANDS MAKES NO WARRANTY THAT THE PLATFORM WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR SECURE. WE DO NOT GUARANTEE THAT ANY CANDIDATE WILL BE PLACED, OR THAT ANY PRACTICE WILL FIND SUITABLE CANDIDATES. THE CRS SCORE, MBTI MATCHING, AND OTHER ASSESSMENTS ARE PROVIDED FOR INFORMATIONAL PURPOSES ONLY AND DO NOT CONSTITUTE PROFESSIONAL CAREER OR LEGAL ADVICE.

13. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, HIRED HANDS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE PLATFORM, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR GOODWILL. OUR TOTAL CUMULATIVE LIABILITY SHALL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) THE TOTAL AMOUNT YOU PAID HIRED HANDS IN THE 12 MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM, OR (B) $100.

14. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Florida, without regard to its conflict of law principles.

Any dispute, claim, or controversy arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Platform shall be resolved exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Miami-Dade County, Florida. You and Hired Hands both consent to personal jurisdiction in those courts.

15. Changes to These Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will provide at least 14 days' notice of material changes via email or a prominent notice on the Platform. Your continued use of the Platform after the effective date of any change constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
